Lauren M Scherf, PT

I am a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic therapy and women’s health.

While growing up in Southern California, I discovered my passion for pelvic health during my own personal journey struggling to receive a diagnosis for chronic pelvic and back pain which ultimately led to diagnoses of endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS. These diagnoses led me to experience pelvic floor physical therapy first-hand, which granted me a uniquely powerful appreciation for the support of skilled practitioners and experienced surgeons that help patients find relief from chronic conditions.

I believe in helping my patients feel validated, empowered, and educated as they grow to become their own best advocates. I prioritize systematic and collaborative approaches to patient care across various providers. I treat pelvic floor disorders including bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum, as well as abdominal and pelvic pain conditions.

When not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons, spending time at the beach, hiking and snowboarding.
