About Laura C. Forcella
About The Provider
Laura attended the University of Oklahoma in her hometown of Norman before finishing her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland. After working as a nurse for a number of years, she continued her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown University, School of Nursing in Washington D.C. Having worked in medicine for more than 13 years, Laura is passionate about providing the best care possible to her pediatric patients while continually improving in her role to stay current with new evidence and guidelines. Her clinical interests include pediatric development, post-trauma care, integrative medicine and sports medicine.
“I love what I do and value being able to provide care to pediatric patients and their families. When we as providers truly treat the patient as more than just a diagnosis, we're able to make strides faster in their treatment than we could be prescribing any medication alone.”
When not spending time with her patients, Laura, her husband, their two sons and their mastiffs are exploring the great outdoors. She enjoys traveling, working out, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.
