About Laura Brown
About The Provider
Laura Brown is a seasoned oncology dietitian with more than 20 years of experience
supporting patients through every stage of cancer care. As a Certified Specialist in Oncology
and a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, she provides expert guidance for individuals
undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, and survivorship, as well as those requiring tube feeding
or intravenous nutrition. Her approach focuses on optimizing nourishment during treatment,
reducing treatment related side effects, and helping patients maintain strength and quality of
life while bringing clarity to often overwhelming nutrition information.
Laura’s philosophy is rooted in individualized, compassionate care. She emphasizes
nourishing the body through the addition of health-promoting foods rather than restriction,
aligning recommendations with each patient’s values, preferences, and goals. With degrees
from Michigan State University and Central Michigan University, she pairs deep clinical
expertise with a practical, supportive approach that helps patients feel confident in their care.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys cheering on her kids, crocheting, reading historical fiction, and
listening to true crime podcasts. Laura and her family love planning road trips, exploring
Colorado’s natural beauty, and taking their dog, Scout, on walks through the neighborhood.
