Kwok L. Wong, MD

Dr. Kwok Wong’s interest in medicine and helping people began in middle school after he volunteered at the Red Cross. It inspired him to become more involved in the medical field, volunteering at a hospital during high school and working as an EMT in college as well. This exposure and experience in healthcare made him want to become a physician and dedicate his life to caring for others.

At Intermountain Health, he specializes in senior primary care. Dr. Wong enjoys getting to know patients and sharing in their experiences. While he sees patients of all different backgrounds and ages, he especially enjoys aiding patients and families affected by dementia, and believes in caring for both the caregiver and the patient.

When he is not spending time with patients, Dr. Wong enjoys sports, watching anime, working out at the gym, and spending time with his family. If he were not a physician, Dr. Wong would want to be a police officer. Dr. Wong used to scuba dive in his free time.

Dr. Wong attended the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Applied Ecology and received his medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine (formerly known as the University of Sint Eustasius) in the Netherlands Antilles. He completed his residency at Beaumont Hospital, Wayne (formerly known as Oakwood Annapolis Hospital), and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Wong is also board-certified in Geriatric Medicine, having completed his Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Case Western Medical Center/University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
