Kirk Thompsen, PT

Kirk Thompsen, PT, earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1996 and his Master of Physical Therapy in 1999, both from Northern Arizona University. With more than 25 years of experience as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist, he has advanced training in differential diagnosis, manual therapy, and therapeutic dry needling. Kirk is committed to ongoing professional education and to staying current with the latest evidence-based, outcome-focused treatment approaches to provide the highest quality care for his patients.

Kirk enjoys partnering with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them understand their condition and equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve their goals and maximize their potential. His patient-centered approach emphasizes education, collaboration, and personalized care tailored to each individual's needs.

Having spent much of his youth in North Carolina and most of his adult life studying and practicing in Flagstaff, Arizona, Kirk brings decades of clinical expertise and a deep appreciation for helping people return to the activities they most enjoy.

Outside the clinic, Kirk enjoys traveling and exploring off-the-grid mountain and desert destinations with his wife. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he spends his winters skiing and, in the warmer months, runs and hikes as many trails as possible.
