Kimberly Rodriguez, NP

Kimberly "Sam" Rodriguez, NP, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Clinic Psychology and Counseling in Provo, Utah. She especially enjoys working with patients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life changes. Sam finds it rewarding to help patients understand themselves better and notice patterns that may be affecting their mental health. She cares deeply about reducing the stigma around mental health care, especially in communities where mental health can be hard to talk about or understand. She is a native Spanish speaker and can provide care in both English and Spanish.

Sam's approach to care is built on compassion, collaboration, and respect for each patient's needs. She works to create a safe space where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, asking questions, and taking an active role in their treatment. She's passionate about mental health care and is committed to helping every patient improve their quality of life.

Sam is from California. In her free time, she enjoys browsing local estate sales and thrift stores for unique trinkets to display around her home. She also likes watching all kinds of documentaries and traveling to El Salvador to visit family. Summer is her favorite season, but she also loves Halloween activities, especially Cornbelly's.
