About Kimberley Hallsted
About The Provider
Kimberley Hallsted, PT, DPT, has been practicing physical therapy since 2019. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Whittier College in 2011 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2019. Kimberley specializes in the treatment of neurological and vestibular conditions, as well as orthopedic rehabilitation. As a bilingual Spanish-speaking clinician, she is able to serve a diverse patient population. She also has experience working with individuals with hypermobility disorders, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and amputations.
Kimberley holds advanced certifications as a Brain Injury Specialist and in Vestibular and Balance rehabilitation, and is certified in LSVT BIG, a specialized treatment program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.
Her passion for physical therapy began during her time as a collegiate athlete when she experienced an injury while playing pickup soccer. During her recovery, she became fascinated by the clinicians’ understanding of human movement and the body’s ability to heal. That experience inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others regain function and return to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of work, Kimberley enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, swimming, camping, and tending to her garden. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and baking for friends and family.
