Kerry L. Sackman, NP

Kerry Sackman, FNP-C, is a cardiovascular hospitalist at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She brings more than a decade of experience caring for patients across internal medicine, hospital-based care, and cardiology, with a subspecialty in advanced heart failure. She is certified in heart failure nursing (CHFN) and provides clinical support for the advanced heart failure team. Kerry is passionate about clinical excellence, preventive medicine, and continuing education, and she brings that same commitment to every patient she sees.

Kerry also serves as the Heart & Vascular APP Manager and supervises the Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology team at UMP Cardiology, where she supports the professional development of fellow advanced practice providers.

As a hospitalist, Kerry cares for patients throughout their hospital stay. She coordinates treatment, manages medications, and works with specialists, nurses, and patients’ primary care providers to keep their care connected. She's in the hospital — listening, answering questions, and making sure patients understand their plan of care from admission through discharge.

Outside of work, Kerry enjoys spending time with her three children, as well as biking, hiking, golfing, and cooking.
