Kelsey L Thorne, PA

Kelsey Lynn Thorne, PA-C, is a committed cardiology physician assistant at Intermountain Health's Heart Institute - Cardiology. She serves patients and their families in Murray and the Salt Lake Valley, focusing on diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Kelsey is passionate about patient-centered care, working alongside her patients to find answers, even when medicine doesn't always provide the outcomes they hope for. She finds deep fulfillment in the collaborative process of seeking solutions. Her philosophy of care highlights the importance of bedside manner, believing that clear, compassionate communication is just as critical as any lifesaving medical expertise.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Utah State University and went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College. Kelsey is board-certified by the NCCPA and is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients.

When not at work, the Utah native enjoys trail running, competing in half marathons and marathons, knitting, biking, and attending hot yoga classes. She also loves bird hunting with her husband and painting in her free time.
