About The Provider

Dr. Knudson received her medical degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine where she was active in AOA, the medical honor society. She is board certified in general surgery. She completed a five-year surgical residency at University of Colorado. Dr. Knudson's philosophy of care focuses on the accessibility of individualized treatment so that all of her patients understand every step of their health and healing journey, from diagnosis to recovery. She has a special interest in treating breast disease,bringing sensitivity and expertise to develop a plan that's right for her patients and their families.

Dr. Knudson performs routine general surgery as well. She knows that a surgery that may seem routine or minor is one of the biggest things that will happen to her patient in a year. It will make the Christmas card, she says. She takes this impact to heart when working with her patients.

Dr. Knudson enjoys outdoor photography, kayaking and spending time outdoors.
