Kelly A. Harmsen, CNM

Kelly DiStefano is a certified nurse midwife at Intermountain Medical Center – Nurse Midwives in Murray, Utah. She supports patients in Murray, Sandy, Cottonwood Heights, and surrounding communities providing prenatal care, contraception access, childbirth, trauma-informed care, and more. She is passionate about providing comprehensive education and empowering patients and their families to make the best decisions for their lives.

Kelly spent many years as a postpartum and labor and delivery nurse before deciding to become a midwife. She remembers so fondly her first weeks as a nurse and being delighted by how much this profession seemed to fit her personality and interests, every day she is awed by the privilege of being in this space with her patients. Some of her best skills as a midwife are her ability to have energy all night long at the hospital and how much she enjoys being about people in the clinic and in the labor unit. 

Originally from New England, Kelly enjoys skiing, mountain biking, cooking with friends, and watching her garden grow. She and her husband live in Salt Lake City.
