About Kayla J Trobec

About The Provider

Kayla Trobec, DPT, is a physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation – Park City, where she specializes in orthopedic and concussion rehabilitation. Her clinical focus includes acute and chronic concussion management, post-head trauma symptoms, exercise intolerance, headaches, post-operative care, complex orthopedic trauma injuries, osteoporosis, workers' compensation, and muscular strains that impact tolerance for functional and recreational activities.

Kayla has practiced physical therapy since 2015 and began her career at Gaylord Hospital in Connecticut. Her primary patient population was outpatient orthopedics and workers' compensation. During her time at Gaylord Hospital, she developed a work conditioning program to help industrial athletes return to work following injury.

She is committed to restoring patients to their highest level of function by applying evidence-based strength and conditioning principles. Kayla believes in the resiliency of the human body and empowers patients to become active participants in their recovery. Her approach centers on practical, progressive rehabilitation plans that build confidence and provide a clear path back to the activities patients enjoy most.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, playing ice hockey, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and traveling. She also enjoys following sports and can usually be found discussing the latest sports news. A Minnesota native, Kayla relocated to Utah in 2024.
