Kayla Dyanne Salmon, LCSW

Kayla Salmon is a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered behavioral health services to individuals in Superior, CO. With a deep commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, Kayla supports people navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, end-of-life issues, and lived experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kayla specializes in helping individuals who feel disconnected from themselves due to multifactorial life events, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore healing and personal growth. She brings a flexible and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Each treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to the unique needs of the client.

Kayla thrives in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments and prioritizes coordinated care strategies to ensure her clients have access to comprehensive support.

Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, Kayla brings warmth, authenticity, and clinical expertise to every session. She is especially passionate about supporting vulnerable and high-needs populations, promoting resilience, healing, and long-term well-being.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending her free time in nature and loves backpacking, climbing, hiking, running, and aerial arts.
