Kathy L. Tate, DPT

I am originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, and hold a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. I attended Columbia University in New York City, where I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I specialize in Orthopedic Physical Therapy with a focus on recovering from injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. I have spent most of my career in NYC and Northern NJ and have recently relocated to Utah.

My treatment philosophy involves encompassing the whole person, not just the injured area. I believe in the importance of finding the "root of the problem" and working with patients to make lifestyle changes that can prevent injury recurrence.

Outside of Physical Therapy, I enjoy many outdoor activities, including mountain and road biking, running, snowboarding, paddle boarding/swimming, and stand-up jet skiing. Since living in St. George, I have also enjoyed time on the UTV in Sand Hollow.
