About Kathryn Anne Scott
About The Provider
Dr. Katie Scott is a board-certified urologist practicing in Denver, with clinical interests in general urology, kidney stones, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). She is passionate about urology and is especially drawn to treating stones and BPH because of the meaningful, often rapid improvements in quality of life these treatments can offer—typically with low risk.
“My job is to give you information and help you make decisions that align with your goals and values rather than decide what I think is best for someone.”
A strong advocate for patient education, Dr. Scott believes that informed patients are empowered patients. She welcomes questions and enjoys taking the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options so that individuals can make confident, informed decisions about their care. Her philosophy is simple: every patient deserves the same level of care she would want for her own family—compassionate, thorough, and personalized. Sometimes that means spending extra time or doing additional research, and she’s committed to doing whatever it takes to provide the best care for each unique situation.
A Kansas native, Dr. Scott earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her urology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center.
When not working, Dr. Scott enjoys traveling, hiking, and cheering on her hometown team – the Kansas City Chiefs!
