Kathleen Boyer, DO

Kathleen "Katie" Boyer, DO, is a pediatric diagnostic radiologist at Intermountain Health's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She supports patients around the Salt Lake City area, bringing curiosity, compassion, and dedication to every case she reads. She especially enjoys reading urgent and emergent musculoskeletal radiographs—often the result of an active kid's latest adventure—and finds joy in the unique stories behind each injury. Her clinical interests also include body imaging.

She believes every patient is one of a kind and deserves her full focus, compassion, and intellect. "Every patient is unique, and my goal is to approach their care with that in mind. They deserve 110% of me to help them through whatever situation brings them to the hospital that day."

A proud veteran, Dr. Boyer served in the U.S. Army and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Outside of work, she loves strength training, practicing yoga, and exploring new fitness modalities. She's an enthusiastic home cook (the NY Times Cooking app is a favorite), enjoys discovering new restaurants, and treasures time with her dog—especially their short trail walks together.
