Katharine Parker, RD

I have been a registered dietitian nutritionist since 2014. I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Connecticut while competing on the women's lacrosse team. I completed my dietetic internship through Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon and began my career focused on providing diet education and care for hospitalized cardiac patients. I acquired my Certified Nutrition Support Clinician credential while working in the intensive care unit. I have other work experience in school nutrition at the district and state levels in Utah. I joined the Lifestyle Medicine & Wellness Center at Intermountain Health in 2022 and have really enjoyed providing honest and motivational counseling for my clientele. I am pursuing my Masters of Science in Human Nutrition virtually through The University of Alabama; as well as, preparing for the board exam to become a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
