Katelyn Earnest, SLP

Katelyn Earnest, CCC-SLP, is a pediatric speech-language pathologist at Intermountain Health's Primary Children's Hospital Pediatric Rehab in Riverton, Utah. She believes every child deserves a way to communicate, be understood, and take part in the world around them. She enjoys working with children with autism and developmental differences. She helps them build functional communication skills and the confidence to connect with the people around them. She has a special interest in working with children who use, or may benefit from, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Katelyn believes therapy should be personalized, practical, and engaging. She uses a child-led, play-based approach and takes the time to get to know each child and what they enjoy. She values working closely with families. Her goal is to create a supportive space where children and families feel comfortable, successful, and motivated, and where children build communication skills they can use in everyday life.

Katelyn is originally from Denver, Colorado. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She also likes being outdoors, running, traveling, trying new activities, and spending time in the mountains.
