Kasandra Ostrander, NP

Kasandra "Kasi" Ostrander is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care specializing in pediatric radiology at Intermountain Health's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoys caring for children and helping families feel informed and supported throughout their healthcare experience, with a particular passion for procedural care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care. Her clinical interests include image-guided procedures, vascular access, procedural care and sedation support, patient and family education, and quality improvement and patient safety.

As a provider, Kasi believes every child deserves compassionate, evidence-based care, and every family deserves to feel heard and included in the decision-making process. Her goal is to provide safe, high-quality care while helping patients and families feel comfortable, informed, and supported.

Kasi understands that medical procedures and imaging can be stressful for children and their families. She strives to create a calm, reassuring environment while taking the time to answer questions and help families feel comfortable throughout their child's care.

A Salt Lake City native, Kasi loves spending time with her son and her dog. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, traveling, and exploring Utah's outdoors, as well as staying active and making memories with family and friends.
