About Kajsa Deigh Collins

About The Provider

Kajsa Collins is a nurse practitioner specializing in wound & hyperbaric at Intermountain Health’s Hyperbaric Medicine Center in Murray, Riverton Hospital Wound Care Clinic in Riverton, and LDS Hospital Wound Care Clinic in Salt Lake City. She supports patients throughout the Salt Lake Valley treating diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, burns, traumatic injuries, and more.
Kajsa’s nursing career began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by four years of hands-on experience in the Acute Cardiovascular Unit. During this time, she discovered a profound interest in wound management, recognizing its significant impact on patient healing and quality of life.
Eager to deepen her expertise, Kajsa transitioned to the Wound Care Clinic, where she served as a Nurse Educator and Nurse Team Lead for four years. This role allowed her to share knowledge and guide others while further developing her skills in specialized wound care. Simultaneously, she pursued advanced education, culminating in earning her Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner. This academic journey, combined with her practical experience, prepared her for her current role.
Joining the Wound Care team as a Provider has been the realization of a personal dream, allowing her to combine her passion, education, and experience to deliver the highest quality care to patients with complex wound management needs.
