Julie A. Gainer, DO

Julie Gainer, DO, is a maternal fetal medicine physician at several Intermountain Health locations including Intermountain Medical Center, McKay-Dee Hospital, Riverton Hospital, Layton Parkway, American Fork Hospital, and Primary Children’s. She supports patients across the Wasatch Front with a special focus on prenatal diagnosis via ultrasound and fetal intervention.

The Intermountain Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists focus on high-risk pregnancy care, invasive fetal testing (CVS and amniocentesis), fetal diagnosis via ultrasound and treatment, multiple gestation, management of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) and both low and high-risk deliveries.

Dr. Gainer has been part of the Intermountain Maternal Fetal Medicine team since completing her fellowship in 2005. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, and her MFM fellowship training at The University of Texas Southwestern

Outside the clinic, Julie enjoys traveling, camping, and going to concerts with her partner and daughter.
