Bio:
Julianne is a native of Ogden, Utah. She graduated Magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Utah State University in 1989. She continued her education in nutrition researching education strategies to improve health and quality of life of individuals with kidney disease. She received her Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Utah State University in 1992.
Julianne is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at McKay Dee Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic. She has over 30 years of experience helping individuals with diabetes. Having type 1 diabetes herself, she is passionate about helping others manage diabetes well and reduce risk of complications. Julianne's special interests include insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring, nutrition management strategies and diabetes research. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons. Julianne's hobbies include gardening, camping, cooking, traveling, and reading.

Nutrition Counseling and Diabetes Education for Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, LADA, Gestational Diabetes, Obesity, High Cholesterol, Hypoglycemia. Training on insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring.

Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, Certified insulin pump trainer (Medtronic, Tandem, Omnipod, Beta Bionics), Quality Coordinator - American Diabetes Association recognized Diabetes education Program, Named Utah Diabetes Educator of the Year 2011.
