About The Provider
Julia Pierson, DPT, is a physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation - Park City Physical Therapy in Park City, Utah. She supports patients in Park City, Kamas, Snyderville, and surrounding communities, specializing in pelvic health, women's health, and related orthopedic concerns.
Her own experiences with physical therapy have shaped her career. As a competitive cross country runner and ski racer in high school and college, she overcame overuse injuries with the help of physical therapy, which allowed her to return to the sports she loved and inspired her to pursue the profession herself. Later, she experienced her body's capacity to heal after pregnancy and a challenging delivery. That successful rehabilitation drew her toward pelvic therapy, where she is passionate about helping patients feel their best.
Dr. Pierson works closely with each patient to develop a personalized plan designed to help them return to the activities they enjoy at every stage of adult life.
Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, where she grew up on a cherry farm, Julia completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alaska before making Utah her home. She loves spending time outdoors in the mountains with her family and friends and finds great joy in watching her children learn and try new things.
