Joshua Romanek, PA

Joshua Romanek, PA C, is a physician assistant specializing in orthopedics at the American Fork Specialty Clinic in American Fork, Utah. He supports patients in American Fork, Lehi, Pleasant Grove, and surrounding communities. He loves every aspect of caring for patients—from small, everyday tasks to the complex challenges that come with orthopedic care. For Joshua, practicing medicine is a privilege, and he values the opportunity to work closely with people to help them heal, move, and live well.

Joshua enjoys supporting patients through shared decision making. He believes education is empowering, and he takes time to help people understand their condition and treatment options. He’s passionate about hands on care and gets especially energized about procedures—whether it’s assisting in surgery, removing a cyst, or even suturing, which he finds calming and therapeutic.

As a provider, Joshua is kind, compassionate, and empathetic qualities he considers essential in a provider. He is also persistent. Many things in life haven’t come easily for him, and through that he’s learned to work hard, stay committed, and never give up. He brings that same determination to caring for his patients and their outcomes.

Born and raised in Utah, Joshua has always considered it home. Outside of work, he stays active through weightlifting, hiking, running, and swimming. He’s also a creative person who enjoys painting and making things. One of his favorite hobbies is using his 3D printer to design and build new projects.
