Dr. Pearson grew up in Dubuque, Iowa. He attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Pearson went to medical school at Des Moines University where he graduated with a dual degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Healthcare Administration. He completed an OB/Gyn residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan. Dr. Pearson began practice in the Grand Valley in 2005. He has specific interests in minimally invasive, pelvic prolapse, and modern obstetrical care.
Dr. Pearson has two wonderful children and, in his downtime, he enjoys working on his house and old cars and motorcycles, and both cross country and downhill skiing.
