Joseph B. Salganik, DO

A Dallas native, Dr. Salganik attended the University of Texas – Austin for his undergraduate studies. He earned a Master of Medical Science and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed his internship at Medical City Weatherford and a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency with Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Salganik is tasked with directing rehabilitation from any functional loss whether that be from traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, multiple traumas, or neurological or musculoskeletal disease.

“I strive to look at the whole patient to assist in their rehab journey and to best heal their body and mind. I emphasize open communication with the entire rehab team of physicians/providers, nurses, therapists and care coordinators to ensure all patient needs are being met. I'm amazed by the strength and will of patients in their functional recovery.”

When not at work, Dr. Salganik, his wife and two rescue labradoodles love spending time outside. They are often skiing, cycling, hiking, backpacking, camping, rafting and barbequing.
