Jorge L. Serna, NNP

Jorge Serna, NNP-BC, is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner based in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Greeley, Jorge is passionate about caring for the tiniest and most vulnerable patients—especially during their first critical moments of life. He finds particular joy in helping deliver and care for premature babies and is dedicated to supporting families throughout their NICU journey.

Jorge's clinical interests include chronic lung disease, particularly bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), neonatal nutrition, and complex intestinal disorders. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver.

Outside of work, Jorge enjoys staying active with Barry’s workouts and playing pickleball. He also loves exploring local breweries, traveling, going to concerts, and cooking.
