About Jonathan W. Schmidt
About The Provider
Jon completed training at Primary Children’s before joining Alta View Pediatrics in 2015. As the second of eight children and the father of five, Jon has intentionally surrounded himself with the most important segment of our population, kids. He loves partnering with parents in caring for their children and loves serving the community where he grew up and where he is raising his own kids. His family enjoys riding horses in Oakley, skiing at Alta, and hiking in Glacier. In his spare time, he can be found in his wood shop or welding a new project. Jon is fluent in Spanish and serves as a Pediatric Medical Director for Intermountain Health.

He is very respectful and tries to help her understand the pro's and con's of using weed and why it's not a great idea for her because there isn't studies to show how it helps with the issues Alissa is facing

Information about what to expect for their age tailored wellness exam prior to arriving for appointment. Preparing for patients that have a history of ADHD/overstimulation/fear of medical treatments. We felt rushed and couldn't reset mindsets about what needed to be accomplished.
