Jessica Gamwell, PA

Jessica is originally from Houston, Texas. She earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Texas Christian University followed by her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Following graduation from PA school, she moved back to Fort Worth where she practiced cardiology and electrophysiology for 8 years. She always had a passion for being outdoors with a love of hiking, running and snowboarding, seizing on the opportunity to continue practicing cardiology out here in Denver. As a cardiology PA specializing in electrophysiology, Jessica enjoys the complex challenges of the heart and getting to care for hearts in all stages of life.

"I absolutely love every opportunity to get to sit down and build a relationship with my patients. I believe that the best medical care can only come through taking time to know my patients, listen to their stories and develop a plan that takes into account the whole person. I love providing explanations and education that allow my patients to understand their health conditions and to play an active part in their treatment. Being told you have a heart condition can generate a lot of anxiety in patients, and I enjoy getting to help patient develop a comprehensive understanding of their diagnosis and treatment options with the aim to take away much of that fear and empower them to be a proactive in their health and continue living a healthy lifestyle."

When Jessica is not at work, she enjoys anything that allows her to be outdoors and you can likely find her on an adventure in the mountains, running through town, or searching for the best places to eat around Denver.
