Jessica Do, PA

Jessica Do is a certified physician assistant (PA-C), specializing in pediatric general and trauma surgery at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She supports patients across northern Utah, with clinical interests in trauma, general surgery, critical care, and emergency medicine. She treats traumatic injuries, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, soft tissue infections, complex wounds, and more. She particularly enjoys caring for trauma patients. She considers it a privilege to care for patients and their families on some of their worst days.

Jessica has experience caring for critically ill and injured adults and children. Before becoming a PA, she worked for several years as a critical care technician in the emergency department and intensive care settings, which shaped her calm, compassionate approach to high-acuity care.

Jessica values clear communication, teamwork, and supporting patients and families through stressful situations, and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care to every child she serves.

Outside the clinic, the Salt Lake City native enjoys staying active, being outdoors, gardening, and walking her dogs.

• Blunt and penetrating traumatic injuries (including multisystem trauma)
• Traumatic brain injury and concussion
• Acute abdominal pathology (appendicitis, bowel obstruction, bowel perforation)
• Soft tissue infections and complex wounds
• Post-operative complications (bleeding, infection, ileus)
