Jennifer L. Clayton, NP

Jennifer is originally from the St. Louis area. She holds two undergraduate degrees, one in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and one in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee. Jennifer earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult Acute Care from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee. Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked in the neuro ICU, neurosurgery, bone marrow transplant, lung cancer screening as well as general medical oncology and benign hematology.

“The part of my job I enjoy the most is supporting patients through their cancer journey and being there to help ease their fears. I take pride in my ability to slow things down for them and help them take it one day at a time.”

When not working, Jennifer spends time with her husband, their two boys and their two dogs. She enjoys hiking, jogging, volleyball, gardening – anything outside!
