About Jennifer C. Keene

About The Provider

Dr. Keene completed her medical degree at Cleveland Clinic after receiving an MBA in technology innovation and a masters in Neural engineering from Case Western Reserve University. She completed her Pediatric and Neurology residencies at Seattle Children's and her Neonatal Neurology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. She is board certified in Child Neurology. She is currently an Assistant professor in the division of Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Keene's interests lie in continuing to improve neuroprotective care and recovery for neonates and children in the intensive care unit. She specializes in the care of children throughout early-life including fetal counseling, care of neonates with seizures, strokes, brain malformations, brain bleeds and other neurologic issues, and care of children in the pediatric ICU. She focuses on helping children and families rehabilitate and reach their potential after early-life brain injuries. Her research focuses on improving understanding of early life brain monitoring and improving outcomes after NeuroICU care.
