About The Provider
Jeffery Tackett joined Intermountain Health, in 2020 because he recognized it as a great opportunity to join an amazing team. As a pediatric specialist, he spends each day making a difference in children’s lives. His first job in pediatrics was in orthopedics, which he says is his “first love.”
Mr. Tackett earned his masters degree while working full-time and parenting two children of his own, so he’s familiar with the needs of his young patients. When his father suffered an aneurism, he saw the difference outstanding care can make, which is why he strives to bring it to each of the patients he sees daily. He helps patients dispel vaccination myths and makes sure they get care for conditions such as asthma, ADHD, and obesity.
When he’s not hard at work, Mr. Tackett enjoys baseball, basketball, golf, and football for fun and the great life lessons they teach.
Mr. Tackett began practicing medicine in 2013. He earned his BS in Nursing and he earned his Master of Science in Pediatric Nursing from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
