Jeffrey David Manuel, MD

Dr. Jeff Manuel is a dual board-certified physician in family medicine and hospice and palliative medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Graceland University. He went on to complete his residency at Saint Joseph Hospital and a fellowship in Palliative Care with Capital Hospice in Falls Church, Virginia.

As a hospice and palliative care medicine provider, Dr. Manuel has a deep clinical focus on managing complex cancer pain and supporting patients and their families as they navigate serious illness. He is passionate about helping individuals understand their diagnoses and treatment options, guiding them through complex medical decisions with clarity, empathy, and respect.

I am most excited by having the opportunity to really understand a person’s hopes, fears, and values and then helping advocate for these values as they navigate the healthcare system.”

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Manuel is dedicated to teaching communication and palliative care skills to healthcare professionals, promoting a more compassionate and patient-centered approach across various disciplines.
