Jeffrey A. Lofgran, MD

Jeffrey Lofgran. MD, is a hospitalist at Intermountain Health, caring for patients across the Wasatch Front. As a hospitalist, Dr. Lofgran cares for patients throughout their hospital stay. He coordinates treatment, manages medications, and works with specialists, nurses, and patients’ primary care providers to keep their care connected. He's in the hospital every day — listening, answering questions, and making sure patients understand their plan of care from admission through discharge.

As a physician, Dr. Lofgran knows his patients often come to him on their worst days, when they feel sick, worried, and unsure of what comes next. He meets each person with patience and compassion and gives excellent, thorough care across every part of hospital medicine. He takes time to explain what is happening in clear, simple terms and answers questions along the way. With his caring bedside manner, he helps patients and their families feel informed, supported, and at ease throughout their hospital stay.
