Jaxton Peterson, PA-C, cares for patients at Intermountain Health Heart & Vascular - Grand Junction Vascular Surgery, where he is passionate about treating patients with complex vascular conditions. He enjoys the hands-on nature of vascular surgery and finds procedures such as AV fistula creation especially rewarding because they enable him to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working alongside a dedicated team committed to exceptional care.

His clinical interests include procedural medicine, vascular care, and building strong connections with his patients. Jaxton thrives in fast-paced environments that challenge him and enjoys continuously learning new skills and expanding his medical knowledge.

Jaxton wants his patients to know he is always here to listen, answer questions, and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their care journey. He believes great care starts with trust and communication, and he enjoys bringing a little humor and positivity to every patient interaction.

Originally from Prescott, Arizona, Jaxton has lived in Grand Junction for the past seven years. He lives in the area with his wife and their 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter.

Outside of work, Jaxton enjoys fishing, swimming, mountain biking, traveling, playing and watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. A devoted hockey fan, he proudly cheers for the Colorado Avalanche. He also enjoys firing up the grill and is known for grilling a mean steak.
