About Javin Richard Miller

About The Provider

My name is Javin R. Miller, and I am a medically trained Speech-Language Pathologist. I’ve been practicing for nearly four years and have worked with a wide range of populations across the field. I specialize in voice therapy and cognitive rehabilitative therapy for individuals who have experienced neurological damage due to stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), or conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.

I earned my degree and clinical training at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. I recently relocated to St. George from Vernal, Utah, where I worked in an outpatient setting.
My path into this profession was inspired by my love for languages and communication. As a polyglot who speaks four languages, I initially considered a career in interpretation or translation. However, I was drawn instead to a more service-oriented role—one that allows me to help others while engaging with something I find deeply meaningful. I take pride in being service-driven and find great fulfillment in improving the lives of those I work with.

Outside of work, I’m an artist who values the financial freedom my career provides to explore creative interests after hours. I enjoy 3D printing, sculpting, and painting. I’m also a dinosaur enthusiast and love hiking and exploring sites with fossilized footprints. Most importantly, I’m a husband and father who cherishes adventurous family time and teaching my children life’s most valuable lessons.
