Jason Garth Winward, MD

Jason Winward, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with clinical interests that include diastolic and systolic heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and valvular heart disease. Known for a patient-first approach, Dr. Winward is deeply committed to doing what is best for each individual, regardless of the circumstances.

Dr. Winward provides care exclusively for adult patients, treating individuals ages 18 and older.

Dr. Winward grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Winward completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and later completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Winward combines advanced clinical training with a compassionate approach to care, focusing on evidence-based treatment strategies and long-term heart health for his patients.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
