Jarin Leavitt, MD, is an OB/GYN at Intermountain Health’s Layton Parkway Women’s Health clinic in Layton, Utah. Dr. Leavitt sees GYN patients at Layton Parkway Women’s Health clinic, and he performs OB Hospitalist work at Layton Hospital. He enjoys assisting with deliveries as it provides him with the exciting opportunity to participate in such a pivotal moment in the life of a patient and bring new life into the world. He also enjoys urogynecology cases because they restore functionality such as stress urinary incontinence, and hysterectomies for dysfunctional uterine bleeding because he finds satisfaction in finding a resolution of life-altering symptoms.

As a provider, Dr. Leavitt believes in creating a partnership with patients to help improve their lives. He emphasizes open communication and shared decision-making, ensuring that patients feel heard and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. He values building trust and fostering a sense of teamwork, so patients are comfortable discussing their health goals and challenges.

Outside the clinic, the small town native of Kamas, Utah enjoys being outdoors, participating in triathlons, archery, and hobby farming. He has a wonderful wife and five children and loves spending his free time with them.
