Jared Stanton McOmber, DO

Jared McOmber, DO, is a hospital physician at Cassia Hospital in Burley, Idaho. He supports patients already admitted to the hospital, committed to helping patients not only understand the "what" of their care but, perhaps even more importantly, the "why." His clinical interests are broad, which is what drew him to family medicine, but he has a consistent passion for practicing in rural and underserved communities.

Dr. McOmber believes his role in medicine is to facilitate — through discussion, instruction, and care — the achievement of each patient's personal health goals. He especially enjoys helping patients gain new insight into their chronic conditions and improving their ability to manage them moving forward, with the goal of avoiding acute exacerbations.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. McOmber enjoys drawing and painting, reading, hiking, and scuba diving.
