Janie H. Jensen, NP

Janie is an AANP board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in pediatrics at Intermountain Health's Alta View Clinic. She serves patients and their families in Sandy and nearby communities and provides comprehensive primary care for children of all ages, from newborns to young adults. Janie genuinely enjoys building trusting partnerships with families and is a dedicated advocate for her patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Passionate about promoting healthy habits, she works closely with patients and families to overcome challenges and support lifelong wellness.

Janie earned both nursing and exercise and wellness degrees from Brigham Young University. She obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked in the float pool at Primary Children's Hospital, gaining experience in the pediatric ICU, emergency department, neurotrauma, NICU, and medical/surgical units. 

Janie was born and raised in Utah, and in her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, various water activities, sporting events, traveling, and being outdoors with her husband and golden retriever.
