Janesa Marie Porter, DNP

Janesa Porter, NP is a pediatric radiologist at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She supports patients and their families throughout the Salt Lake Valley, and surrounding areas, providing care for pediatric patients who are experiencing acute injuries and illnesses while providing preventative care and anticipatory guidance. She strives to help pediatric patients live their healthiest lives possible, so they can enjoy childhood and live it to the fullest.

Janesa is a doctorate-prepared, acute care and primary care certified, pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in caring for children from birth to early adulthood. She has experience working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Same Day Surgery and Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and general pediatrics as a registered nurse, and has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the pediatric emergency department and pediatric urgent care.

Janesa is passionate about working with children who are systematically marginalized and understanding the social determinants of health of my patients and their families while providing robust preventative education and applying acute care expertise.

Outside the clinic, the California native enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and dog. They love getting outdoors, going to movies, and playing board and video games together.
