Jan-Michael Andresen, DO

Dr. Andresen attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa for his undergraduate studies. He moved to Erie, Pennsylvania where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Andresen completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.  Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Andresen worked as a certified nursing assistant. Board certified in internal medicine, his clinical interests include critical care medicine, pulmonology and infectious disease but he feels he thrives serving as a hospitalist.

“I listen to my patients in order to treat them comprehensively and systematically. My goal with each patient is to conclude care with individualized counseling and education in order to prevent disease recurrence or promote optimization with chronic disease conditions.”

Passionate about photography, videography and environmental conservation, Dr. Andresen loves to spend his time away from work in the great outdoors.
