About The Provider
Jamie Barker is a board-certified nurse practitioner (NP) working with the internal medicine team at Intermountain Health’s Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah. She supports patients in Riverton, Herriman, Bluffdale, and surrounding communities by assessing and diagnosing acute illnesses, prescribing treatments and medications, developing patient-centered care plans, and more.
Jamie has always been a strong advocate for her patients and a compassionate listener. She knows the patient is the most important part of the healthcare team and is excited to work on your healthcare goals together.
Jamie earned her master’s in science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, where she graduated with honors. She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, starting her career as a pharmacy technician and certified nursing assistant (CNA) before graduating from high school. She then put herself through school and graduated as an RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2006.
Jamie loves the outdoors and can often be found off the beaten path Jeeping, hiking, or paddle boarding with her husband and two boys.
