James P. Craven, MD

Dr. James Craven is an endocrinologist working primarily out of Intermountain Medical Center. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, and completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the National University of Ireland where his research focused on immune signaling pathways. He moved to the United States after medical school in the Royal College of Surgeons. Salt Lake City has been home since that point, completing his residency and fellowship at the University of Utah. He sees patients who have been admitted to the hospital with endocrine issues and runs a transition clinic to help ensure follow up after leaving the hospital.
