James M. Wilks, DPT

James Wilks, DPT is a physical therapist practicing Orthopedic Physical Therapy at Intermountain Health’s TOSH clinic in Murray, Utah. He supports patients throughout the Salt Lake Valley, specializing in post-operative rehabilitation, and Sport Rehabilitation. His clinical focus is shoulder rehabilitation for those who are heavily involved in sports, as well as the casual weekend warrior.

James has a strong desire to help members of the community live their healthiest lives possible. He does this by providing evidence-based care to help patients rehabilitate from injuries, pains, while assisting them in preventing future injuries. In addition to enjoying the clinic James is heavily involved in continuous improvement projects to assist in improving standard of care across the system.

James grew up back east in New York and moved across the country to attend the University of Utah. He loves spending time outside with his family and on the sports field.
