Jimmy Hjorth, PA-C, is a dedicated physician assistant with more than four years of experience specializing in orthopedic surgery. He recently joined Southern Utah Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Cedar City, Utah, where he brings his expertise in joint replacement and sports medicine.
Jimmy finds fulfillment in helping patients regain their functionality and quality of life. He offers compassionate and effective care for a wide range of injuries and conditions.
He earned his physician assistant degree from Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky, and went on to work in Maryland and Delaware for four years, focusing on joint replacement procedures. Before becoming a physician assistant, Jimmy worked as an athletic trainer at Intermountain Health in American Fork, Utah, with Utah Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He also gained valuable experience volunteering at triathlons, marathons, and various sports camps.
Jimmy is a graduate of Snow College and Brigham Young University.
Outside of his professional career, he enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, Becca, and their three children. The family loves outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and biking, and they have competed in multiple triathlons together.
