About The Provider
James "Jimmy" Frazier, DO is a sports medicine physician at Intermountain Health’s Ephraim Clinic in Ephraim, Utah. He supports patients in Sanpete County, Carbon County, Emery County, Sevier County, and surrounding communities, treating fractures, sprains and strains, joint pains, arthritis, concussions, and more. He enjoys treating a large variety of sports and physical activity injuries as well as general musculoskeletal problems for all ages. It is extremely rewarding for him to see someone return to what they love to do with increased function and decreased pain.
Dr. Frazier will listen and work with his patients to understand their goals and create a plan that is right for them – whether they’re an athlete or want to move without pain. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound guided injections (including platelet-rich plasma), exercise as medicine, overuse injuries, and nerve injuries (ex.carpal tunnel).
Outside the clinic, the Kaysville, Utah native enjoys outdoor activities, like hiking, biking, and running, spending time with his wife and their four daughters, playing and watching sports, gardening, playing the piano, and reading, especially biographies.
