Jacob T. Korish, DPT

Jacob Korish, PT, is a physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation - Avenues Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. He supports patients in Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, and surrounding communities specializing in orthopedic care, sports rehabilitation, and spine conditions. He has four years of clinical experience and is passionate about helping patients recover from injury, reach their goals, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

Jacob’s interest in physical therapy began after sustaining a football injury that required ACL reconstruction. Through his own recovery, he became fascinated by how the human body works and how targeted rehabilitation can restore strength, mobility, and confidence. This experience continues to shape his patient‑centered approach to care.

Originally from Wisconsin, Jacob moved to Utah to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Utah has since become home, and outside of the clinic he enjoys taking advantage of the state’s outdoor recreation, including snowboarding, splitboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, and playing soccer.
