Holly Cunningham, NP

Holly Cunningham, DNP is a board-certified nurse practitioner working with the gastroenterology team at Intermountain Health’s Jerry & Kathleen Grundhofer Clinic – Gastroenterology in Park City, Utah. She supports patients in Park City, Snyderville, Kamas, and surrounding communities, treating inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gallbladder problems, and more. With over a decade of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings she has developed a strong background in managing complex conditions.

Holly enjoys caring for patients with complex gastrointestinal concerns, as these cases let her blend evidence-based medicine with patient education and lifestyle counseling to improve long-term outcomes and quality of life. She values screening and diagnostic procedures like endoscopies and colonoscopies for their role in early disease detection and giving patients peace of mind. Holly prioritizes meeting patients where they are—helping them understand their conditions and options and working together to create tailored plans for lasting improvements. Above all, she values building trust with patients and families and helping them find treatments that improve their quality of life.

Holly’s personal passion for gastrointestinal (GI) health came when her mother passed away from colon cancer in December 2024. This experience intensified her commitment to early detection, preventive care, and compassionate support for patients facing GI disorders. She sees it as a privilege to honor her mother’s memory by contributing to a specialty that had such a profound impact on her family.

Outside the clinic, the Oklahoma native enjoys spending time with family, hiking, camping, and skiing.
